Tribute to Dashie

Dashie joined us on the 11th December 2013.
She had brought much joy into my life and also love into my marriage.
She was so gentle and joyful, she is always dashing from one end to another.
She was so cute and adorable, it hurt me so bad when i had to let her go...
On the faithful day 17th March 2014.
Though it had only been a short 3 months, we really loved her a lot!

These are our memories of her from beginning...
Till the very end...
LOVE DASHIE....

You will be my first and my very last rabbit..
I will always remember you and no rabbit can replace you in my life..

Attos - My 'Angel' bag

Many of you read my post on ATTOS earlier and found out a bit about this 'Angel' bag. Now it has arrived! Actually a few weeks back but have been really busy, so here it goes!

A blue full leathered, beautifully crafted bag. The side of the bag comes with 2 flaps that symbolises the wing of an angel.
It comes with the ATTOS logo on the metal piece of the opening and on the leather itself, on the inside of the bag. The zipper also have the words "love, joy and peace" engraved on it.
Accompanied with a lovely long stripe.

I believe!

We are going to be the biggest news in the next few days, City Harvest Church, CHC.

But in view of all and what is going to be ahead, i can only say that i believed, i believe and i'm still believing!

I was here, 13 years ago when we were still meeting at the old hollywood theatre. Back then, we were less than 8,000 people. i saw how the church love and contributed to the community. In the days of my youth, i was taught that what makes a christian from the rest is that when we make a mistake, we do not push and we do not blame, we take responsibility and we grow. Is it possible to never ever make a mistake? Let he who has no sin cast the first stone.

It was also then where we started the project 'Church without walls' and going beyond the 4 walls of the church, we entered the lives of many who are I.D and disabled. Giving them warm and a brand new meaning to life. Giving their family members a new hope and emotional support. Many lives were touched, and changed.

2003, we started the crossover project. Is it just the decision of the leaders or our senior pastor, kong hee? i would say, it is our project. This is our church, this is our crossover, this is our project and this is our decision. Just like many other projects whether is it to build schools or orphanages, the purpose was to touch and change lives.

In this journey, i went for quite a couple of the trips and each time, it move me to tears standing there in the midst of the concert or event, see the many lives changed. The smile, the joy and the hope that was put on the people's face once again.

Though much will be said on the first round of the court hearing starting this coming wednesday, 15th May. I will say, i trust in the integrity of our leaders that nothing was used for personal gains and no money was 'lost' as mentioned by the media.

I believed, i believe and i'm still believing!

Hand in hand!

Photographer: Me!

The best way to start the year 2013 is, hand in hand with love, joy and peace in the family! Nothing beats having a place where you call home. A place where you know you will be accepted and loved just the way you are. A refuge from storm and a fortress against the enemies. Apart from my family, the next place i call home is, City Harvest Church (CHC), a place where i grew up and a place where i found my home. =)

Touched. Moved.

Just read a blog that brought tears to my eyes.

I wish I could have known how you felt all along so I could be there to understand what you were going through better.

I wished I could have understand and know how all of you felt and what all of you are going through so I could be a lot more understanding.
I want to stop thinking that I know it all because I know I don't!
It is not about me, it's all about you.

I thought I lived the best I know how, till I realized the things you were going through.
I pray I'll move.
My heart, to pray for every single one of you, for all that you are going through.
To believe with you, the kinda dreams you have!
To live, to laugh and to love together.

Honestly, I missed the times we had.
Now that all of you are busying about things you care, maybe it was me who did not care enough.
I want to be apart, I want to be there.
Walking through the pain and sharing all the joy.
Lord, teach me how to care.
Not so that you will obey, but just so that I can be there.

Thanks for opening up and sharing with me your life, because it really mattered to me.
As much as how it all mattered to you. It really does to me.
I'll be praying together with you, believing for that future you hold.
I know you will make it through, no matter how bad the storm may seems.
The time will come, when everything will be made beauty in His time.
I know and I'm sure.

Joy Killer!

So disappointed i rather not get anything!
I am sure you have had this kind of experience before too! Lately, i have many such unpleasant encounters with salesperson from the shop! Their rudeness and attitude simply turns me away, leaving me such unhappiness i did rather do without the item.

I asked for the price of a perfume and the salesperson went "hundred plus~", i replied "hundred plus?!?" cause i was expecting an exact amount. The salesperson then responded with an attitude like i could not afford it "yes, hundred plus!" It was a complete turn off for my day, i left for home.

Ever tried entering a shop where the salesperson follow you wherever you go, making you feel totally uncomfortable to shop further? To make things worse, some of them even arrange every item you touched, giving you the impression that you are messing up their display.

The joy of shopping is very much affected but the people we meet and the people we go shopping with. Complete joy or joy killer. With the same amount of money or even more, i rather buy something from a shop with a really nice salesperson, than the shop with an unpleasant one! A good salesperson will know how to make you feel comfortable and want to go back again! What are you willing to pay for? The item or an experience?

Shopping is all about the joy behind the experience!
