was listening to this CD on outreaching to the elderly

they actually uses Old chinese and canto songs 

to illustrate the different areas of our lives and the love of God

really very interesting way lei

and they can really sing man~

sometimes its about using the things of the world

to bring down the love and glory of God into the hearts of people

if the service was all about singing christian songs

many would not have come to know the Lord

but with these old songs

it really helps them to relate to God's love through the different issues of life

talking about waiting for someone

some people waited 3 years or even another 6 years

some waited all their life for a love they could not find

and if the love of God, the unconditional love is now made available to you

will you just stop waiting and step into His love?

friends who share skills and talents are good

but the value of friends are people who share love

everyone have their own story

and sometimes people always think or feel that others will never know how they feel

simply because they are not in your shoes

everyone has their own ceiling to break, own circumstances to go through

in every storm it requests a decision

a decision to breakthrough or to be broken down

through every waves, we decide whether to ride on it

or to submerge under

its went we go through these storms and waves

we may see death, disappointment and despair

but it is also through these times where we will see the Lord

the hands of God moving in our lives

if we depend on our own strength to fight against the storms

we may never come out of it

but with God, we know we can rise above every storm and waves

in lives there maybe many regrets

but yet sometimes why do we constantly live in regrets

and not doing anything about the regrets

or at least stop doing things that you will regret

cause always listen with my grandma

there are so many so many things in life

but what are we running after all our life?

many things can never be taken together with us after we died

but what we can bring is faith, hope and love

how people will be be reluctant to go home

because of the pressure, the stress given from the family

the need to provide etc

as the saying goes '家家有本难念的劲'

every home got their own problems to face

everyone wants to have a good and perfect family

however some have money but no love

while some have love but no money

but yet poor people also can have fun and joy together

and you dun have to stay poor for long

lets not forget the goodness and the sweetest of a home, a family

ultimately its the home that keeps you away from storms

like i always say, "its not about what you go through, but who you go through it with!"

its just different to know that there is someone there for you all the time

no matter what you go through the person will still be there

and you can turn to the person anytime

people complaint and worried about everything

have car complaint no parking

complaint that house too small; food not nice; wife not pretty

but yet worry that house too big will have burglary;

car too good people will steal;

food too nice will have high blood pressure;

wife too pretty will have adultery

people always have something to complaint, something to worry about

until you surrender, God can never take over

there is nothing wrong with praying to God

what is more scary is praying to a wrong 'god'

people who feels that they do not need the Lord

took themselves as 'god', their own 'god'

whether believer or not everyone has their own storms to go through

but its about who we meet in the midst of these storms and waves

though coming to Christ does not mean that there will be no more storms

in fact there maybe be even greater storms and greater waves

but yet in the midst of all

you met with the Lord and see how He sheltered you through

bringing you through, leading your path is the most amazing thing

kinda reminded me of my grandma

oh well

we can all put to use the talents God put in us
