Stay in Barcelona (Part 4) Park Güell by Antoni Gaudi

This whole park is designed by the same designer, Antoni Gaudi.
Where he devoted around 45 years of his life, staying in this park to build and design this park

Photographer: ME!

If you noticed, there are some elements in Gaudi's design that is like his trademark.
The CROSS... His religion as a Catholic.
The outer pillars are always leaning inwards to increase stability of the structure, just like how we are in a standing position with our feet apart.

A very beautiful park~
So sad that it was raining... If not i would love to stay and sit around the park longer.
Just to absorb it's beauty and every detail of the art and the architectures!
A place worth visiting if you are considering where to go in Barcelona =)

Eagle's nest

Sometime ago, a terrible storm in the middle of the night with loud thunder and frightening lightning, destroyed the eagle's nest opposite my house where the entire umbrella of the tree was struck down.

Today as i was sitting at my desk doing my work, i noticed a couple came by! I took my camera excitedly to capture what they are doing!

Photographer: ME!

They are building their nest! =)

I believe these are a different couple from the previous couple because the previous couple came and left with 4 baby eagles.

A research shows that eagles usually stopover to build a nest when the female is going to lay eggs and they often nest the eggs before they continue in their journey. The previous eagles came in a pair and i watched how they nested their eggs and saw their baby eagles soaring for the first time and saw them leaving as a family as the nest was destroyed in a stormy rain.

Looking forward to see their nest soon and the babies that are coming along! <3

I'm so thankful for my Canon SX40HS camera that allow me to shot them up close and personal!

Stay in Barcelona (Part 3) Architectures

Every building is a masterpiece. These are not museums, art house etc. These are just buildings along the road that i manage to capture as i go... Look at how beautiful they are~ the sculptures and detailings...

This is a church nearby my hotel.
Went for a simple dinner on our own and came to the main entrance of this beautiful church.

Build it like your own!

As the date draws nearer for the collection of my keys, great anticipation builds up and I can't wait to move my things into the bigger space and also get the best things for my house! The last letter stated Aug/Sept and now that Aug is over... September it shall be! :)

But before all these, we had a great time planning together how we can give and build the house of God in this upcoming building fund! This is my 11th building fund and it will be the first time we are pledging together as a couple! :D

Year after year, I looked forward to the building fund because it is really not about building buildings but building lives! Since my first building fund in 2001, I have seen how relationships have developed, lives have been built and transformed. Personally, since joining City Harvest Church in year 2000, my own life has been greatly impacted and changed, I would not be where I am now if without God and then people He placed in my life. I believe that it is God who placed me here and He bless me so that I can be a blessing!

Suntec is not just a piece of land or a place, it is our promise land. Yes, there are giants in the land and will require a fight, but if God has given us this vision, He will give us the provision! This is not out of the will or desires of a man but a promise of God. I was there when we prayed, we fasted, we confessed and we visualized, before this vision was birthed. "This is a place in the marketplace, for the marketplace, to serve the marketplace!" Not for glamor or for fame, but simply to serve the marketplace, to build lives and most importantly to build God a house. I remembered how I had this phrase printed on A3, with an image of a stadium, pasted on the wall of my room so that I can visualize, pray and confess together with the Church every single day till this vision was birthed!

Just like how anyone will be excited for their new house and want to get the best for their homes, I think God's house deserves the BEST! Unequal amount, but equal sacrifice! Build it like it is your own! This is my church, this is my house, this is my life!
