today is Ivan's birthday

spent the past few nights doing up the organizer for him

hope he will really like it

and dun feel pressured tat i am making him plan

whole morning felt a bit lost cause dunno what are the plans at all

so when for CG and wait for him to sms me

went to eat with yaomin, jeffrey and emily at Hougang mall

then went to play badminton for awhile

before it started raining so came back to Hougang mall to wait for Ivan

met him at Kovan mrt instead cuz he went home to put down his presents

and we travelled down to Vivo together to meet the rest

suppose to meet them at 5.30p.m. so we arrived at 4.45p.m.

walked around and went to this part of the balcony to talk

somehow it feels very comfortable talking to him

and i enjoy the way we would share about things

and how we would want our future to be etc

standing there from dawn till dust

from sunshine to sunset

even the moon is out

hahaha

went to meet te rest to eat at 'White Dog Cafe'

not bad quite a nice place

service is good

cuz we tested and stretched all their limits but they are still very nice

haha

then half the time they are teasing us 

saying that the food is sour/sweet

when to the roof top after eating

to sit down and fellowship

but end up playing 

when its my turn to act

i was suppose to act out "Happy Birthday to Ivan"

and towards the ending they made wendell act out

"Xiuzhen you are so pretty, from Ivan"

and the final sentence by wenkai was

"Xiuzhen you are so pretty yes i know, for Ivan tells me so"

hahaha

so funny hor

then we left for home and Ivan took train with me till Pasir ris

and walked me home from the station

really enjoyed my day

The Beginning of my Princess Diary

During our KTV session at Chinatown on the 1st Oct

having him singing the song "Waiting for you"

caused me to feel that its not impossible after all

and it all started on the day i wrote a post "Key to the heart" in my public blog on the 6th Oct as follows:

read the post on Nixi's blog naming me as a 'Hopeless Romantic'
and her honest proclamation
kinda agrees with some part of her post somehow

well
which girl doesn't want to be a princess
to be loved and protected
and who doesn't wish that their love story would well be like any fair-tale
where the girl look gorgeously gorgeous
and the guy charmingly charming
a relationship where there is no hurt
and just simply filled by the love in the air
everything happening spontaneously

the kind of courtship where you would just enjoy dazing into each others eyes
everything you all do
even if its the most simplest thing
sitting there all day can also seems to be the most enjoyable thing
the kind of feeling where you are the most important
and all else doesn't matter at all
the kind of love that carries u through all kinds of storm
knowing that the person will be there for you for better or for worse
even when quarrel or comes into disagreeable
will not throw in the towel and just give up on the relationship
but endures all and believes all

BUT
the trouble with love nowadays seems to be

either
getting into relationship is being too over thought
where people evaluates every little thing
even to the exact kind of thought or emotions they expect from one another
sometimes having unrealistic expectations
causing unnecessary disappointment
hence not getting into any relationship

OR
the watering down of the value of relationship to the point where
just like what nixi said, a race, market
people get into this race of getting into relationship
rushing into things and the courtship no longer sweet
but feels like a contract
u happy with what i can provide, i am able to provide what u need?
then sign contract

i feel both is just as imbalance la
so if u are in either category mai cha k
its just as bad
i tink the key is about being balance la
those who just got to know
dun just take it as a contract
trust God to provide u the right person
dun need to rush into things de
give it a bit more time to get to know each other

as for those already know each other very long kind
stop tinking and evaluating too much and step out in faith

and after the post

on monday my prince charming found me at vivo

it has been awhile since i visited that place

and i found a very good location to park myself there

and had our first meeting alone at this cafe named

'Bonbon tea restuarant'

Today was my first date with my prince charming

hahahaha

hmm

this was my first time REALLY feeling that i can be a princess

i no longer got to be the one leading

and the one giving

but i can now be happily led and i can submit

you might never believe this

but being a love guru like me

this is in fact the first time i ever felt so loved

so important in anyone's eyes

=)

we went to eat at 'Earl Swensens'

had beef and lamb steak

realized we are both bad at the salad bar though

hahaha

had a good time talking and just chit chatting while eating

when Jo sms-ed to ask "how is the dating?;P"

so funny rite

and we even planned what to reply

then Jo was like "..."

walk walk along the bay

looking at the beautiful sight facing Sentosa

we had a good time sharing about how his family is like

and things about his family

got to really know him more

then we went to 'Page One' to look for organizers 

looked through some architecture books

and was discussing what kind homes design we like our house to have

before going for a show "Burn After Reading" 

haha got a bit to complain

firstly the seat is super bad

even before the show starts my neck is like breaking

then was the lame story line of the show

that got simply no meaning to

supose to be a comedy but not funny at all

well BUT at the end of it all

its not about the show

its about who i am watching it with

=)

then he took train with me till Aljunied

to take a bus from there

it was a fruitful day

and i have truly enjoyed every moment of my time with him

=)
