Leakage in pre-launch batch of Novita H-MIST02 Faulty

being a big supporter of Novita, i am feeling quite disappointed with the leakage in the pre-launch batch of the Novita H-Mist02.
Water was leaking into the battery compartment causing the batteries and the compartment to become rusty.
There's so much water in the battery compartment when i open up, having water in the cap and also dripping out.

I wrote in to the customer service and they mention they will do a 1-to-1 exchange for me at their customer care centre:

Novita, 9 Koi Marketing Pte Ltd
Singapore 787624
Mondays to Fridays 9am to 5.45pm

Honestly, the customer care centre is very inconvenient and out of the way. If you are not driving, you need to walk at least 10-15 mins from the bus stop to get there and then walk out again. Timing is also not convenient for people who are working because they will be close by the time you end work and they don't operate on Saturdays.

Hence, i have not make time to go down to do the exchange..

Got your keys? What's next?

After years and months of waiting...
i finally got the keys to my very own home in Yishun, Adora Green!
Like any excited couples, you would want to move into your new house straight away!
Not so that you can escape any scoldings or nagging, but simply to enjoy the space of your own.
Actually, i kinda enjoyed staying with my in-laws where home-cooked food and family gathers are not to be missed!

After getting my keys, opening to the door to my unit, the first things people should look out for, despite of the burning desires to move in, is for the defects of the contractors.

Below are just very few photos out of ALL the defects spotted. For some units, they only had very little defects, but for mine, the list went up to more than 30 items. So spot them and label them!
This rusty hangers for the built-in cabinet seems to be quite a norm, considering it happened in 2 out of 4 of my cabinets.
This is a rare sight but i got no idea why there is a wire there.
Scratches on the switches are also very common, but i think these are the worse so i wanted them to be replaced.
The frames in the toilet window are very badly dented, i couldn't help it but they are really obvious especially it faces the light directly from the balcony.
Missing skirting! hahaha and they even had one of my balcony walls painted halfway with grey top and left the bottom white!

But no worries, most of these are fixable but still, be very careful to check that they actually fix them!
