Someone who goes through
thick and thin with you
VS.
Someone who might
help you as a "opportunity offer"
had a revelation today durign svc... it's a 3 part long de... so got to read till the end de k... btw the illustrations are pure illustrations hor... dun tink too much... not in reference to anyone or any situations... its a general though and comments to current common situations....
Part 1:
in a relationship, will you choose to be with someone who had gone through with you thick and thin or someone who will be able to bring you to potential opportunities or offer? of course the best is to that both can be found in one person but in common situations normally dun have so good de la... so there will always to a point of making a decision.
Part 2:
in a family, many times when it started off, it will be quite trying cuz will have to go through alot to put the family together. normally during these times, the wife would always stay through the times and stand by the husband to encourage him and support him through. but yet many times when things are better and a 2nd option is given. they would end up going for the 2nd option, forgetting how the wife had gone through all the thick and thin with him.
Part 3:
in our relationship with God, so very often we run to Him when things are going wrong. times when we have not been faithful; when things are out of hand; when we are lost, He had never leave us nor forsake us. being there with us, seeing us through, providing for us and bringing us to where we want to be, to be the person He want us to be. when everything is ok, going on well, and an option is open to them to serve more, promotion in work, new working opportunity etc they often choose the 2nd option, forgetting how God had seen us through and brought us thus far. then God reminded me about Hosea, how he would still seek after the return of the wife despite of her unfaithfulness.
would you choose to stay faithful to the one who love you and stay with you through thick and thin or someone who can and might bring you to potential opportunities or offer to doing great things?
tsk tsk
